What we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect. Only what a form asks for. For a question about a flight: name, email, the kind of flight, and optionally your main concern, the time frame and the report or route you paste in. For a website enquiry: name, email, project type, budget range, timeline, and optionally company, phone and a brief. We also store the page the form was sent from, your IP address and your browser user-agent string, to catch automated abuse.
The decoder is not a form. Anything you paste into the METAR decoder stays in your browser. It is parsed on your device, never transmitted, and never stored — there is no server-side log of it because there is no server call.
Why. To reply to you. Nothing more.
What we never do. We never publish what you send us, never use it as an example without asking, and never sell or pass your details to anyone.
Analytics and cookies. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage and never leaves the device.
How long we keep it. Submissions are kept for as long as the enquiry is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, then deleted.
Your rights. Write to us to see a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We act on deletion requests within 30 days.
Third parties. Our hosting provider processes the request data needed to serve pages. If a form notification is routed to an internal chat tool, the fields you submitted pass through that provider.
